About Me

Hi there!

I’m Marica. I was born and raised in the Mediterranean Island of Malta, an island full of history, culture and sunshine! 🌞 For the past couple of years I have been living in Budapest, Hungary with my husband Seb and our little furry friend Flora.

When we first moved abroad, I was exposed to a variety of ingredients which I was not totally familiar with and grew more interested in experimenting with them and try out new recipes. In order to document my favourite recipes, I started this blog enabling me to share them with you and hoping to encourage someone out there to try some (or maybe all!) of the recipes. The majority of the recipes are easy to prepare, and yet so tasty! 😋

This blog is not solely intended to be food related. I love to travel and visit new places, and with that come tons of photos that I capture on my trips. I would love to share these here for you to enjoy!

If you stumble upon my blog and would like to leave a message, I would love to hear from you.

Peace and love to all!

    Hello,
    Greeting from California, USA.

I just came across your site and am thrilled to see the beautiful Maltese food recipes. Being Maltese-American, I wish to continue cooking Maltese food as my mother is no longer able to. One thing she never did was to write down her recipes nor would she ever give them out. So you can imagine, trying to be as good a cook as she is quite the challenge.

Thank you for sharing your recipes.

    Kind regards,
    Nancy
